Day 49 - Ouch!

I noticed today a pain in my back as soon as I picked up 20 lbs of kitty litter.  Guess I used my back and not my legs. Live and learn.

lie on your back, and slowly, slowly, with your legs together, draw your knees up to your chest, so you resemble a snail. stay that way for a full minute.
Really helps to stretch your back out that way.

Then try getting on your hands and knees, and slowly do the 'cat arch' thing, first with your back rounded, and then with it arched. Try it a half-dozen times, very slowly.

Again, helps to stretch the spine out.
