I noticed I felt physically ill when I heard that Oscar Pistorius has been charged with murder. Where have all the heros gone?

There are very few people we can look up to anymore, which is why it is even more important for us to be able to look at our own actions and see respect, kindness, integrity, responsibility and conscious awareness there.

He may not be guilty of deliberate murder of a girlfriend, but an accidental murder of a home intruder. Take that NRA! Sometimes with guns we act too fast wanting (understandably) to be the one who shoots first. Let's hope that murder of Oscar's girlfriend was unintentional - tragically, the end result is the same. ld
